From Goodreads. Most high school sports teams have rivalries with other schools. At Hamilton High, it's a civil war: the football team versus the soccer team. And for her part,Lissa is sick of it. Her quarterback boyfriend, Randy, is always ditching her to go pick a fight with the soccer team or to prank their locker room. And on three separate occasions Randy's car has been egged while he and Lissa were inside, making out. She is done competing with a bunch of sweaty boys for her own boyfriend's attention

Then Lissa decides to end the rivalry once and for all: She and the other players' girlfriends go on a hookup strike. The boys won't get any action from them until the football and soccer teams make peace. What they don't count on is a new sort of rivalry: an impossible girls-against-boys showdown that hinges on who will cave to their libidos first. But what Lissa never sees coming is her own sexual tension with the leader of the boys, Cash Sterling...

SHUT OUT, by Kody Keplinger is full of sexual tension, intense rivalries and an awesome no-sex strike! This book is full of originality and is simply fun to read!

I really enjoyed reading this book. It wasn't just a good book it was fun! Keplinger's idea is a great one. All high school sports teams have rivalries, even between the different sports like this one but she takes it a step further and gets the girls involved. The sex-strike really was such a great idea for these feuding guys.

I loved the characters, I could imagine them all in my head...and phew...is it hot in here?! hehe. Keplinger presented her characters well to the reader and kept them going to keep me interested. The entire novel I was on my toes wondering what was going to happen next.

I was really impressed that Keplinger didn't shy away from the sex, most novels nowadays shy away from the physical stuff and go for a more innocent approach, I was impressed that this was not like one of those novels. It was exciting and overall enjoyable. I will keep my eyes open for more from Kody Keplinger. I highly...highly recommend this novel!
